King refuses to meet Harry during Prince's UK visit

King Charles III is back to work after his cancer diagnosis, today meeting Fijian Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka at Buckingham Palace for talks

Prince Harry is visiting Britain to mark 10 years of his Invictus Games.

The fifth in line to the Throne wanted to meet his father the King during his visit. However, the Sussexes say the King has a "full programme" of commitments to undertake and is therefore too busy to meet with Prince Harry.

For example, today His Majesty met with the Fijian Prime Minister.

In reality, is this just simply a refusal by His Majesty to meet his wayward son?

If Harry scores the goals for Bayern Munich against Real Madrid tomorrow night to make it an all-German Champions League Final against Bayer Leverkusen at Wembley then the King will probably forgive his son.

Joking aside, the King is a Burnley fan.

The small town Lancashire club has just been promoted to the Premier League.

Asked why he is a fan of the club, the King said: "Burnley has been through some very challenging times and I'm trying to find ways of helping to regenerate and raise aspirations and self-esteem in that part of the world."

Joking equally aside, it's Borussia Dortmund. Bayer Leverkusen is already a lock to be the Bundesliga champion, after an 11-year run of Bayern Munchen championships.
